Police to Question TIM Connecting Bridge Contractor Today

The case of collapsed connecting bridge of archives building at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) on Friday (10/31) continues to roll. Today, Monday (11/3), the police will question BS, PT Sartonia Agung President Director who is in charge in the project worth Rp 34 billion. In addition, two project foremen will also be questioned.

We will question BS as President Director of PT SA, as well as Mardi and Aryo who are the project foremen on Monday (11/3)

“We will question BS as President Director of PT SA, as well as Mardi and Aryo who are the project foremen on Monday (11/3). And on Tuesday (11/4), we will question BS as the Head of TIM Jakarta Arts Center Management Board (PKJ-TIM),” stated Head of City Police Public Relations Division, Sr. Comr. Rikwanto, Sunday (11/2).

Besides those people, the police will also question the victims who are now under treatment in PGI Cikini Hospital, then do crime scene investigation with Indonesian Police Headquarter Forensics Laboratory Team. Thus far, nine witnesses have been questioned. They are Mukmin (55), Suwardi (51), Harsono (50), Mukarom (40), Pandi (40), Leando Perdana (32), Sarwito (30), Andika Dwi Sukamto (28), Nursolikin (25).

Connecting Bridge at TIM Collapsed, 4 Workers Died

As reported earlier, connecting bridge on the second floor of Jakarta Library and Archives Building at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Cikini Urban Village, Menteng Sub-District, Central Jakarta, collapsed on Friday (10/31) and caused four workers died and five people injured because of falling debris. The casualty are Harno (40), Nur Ucup (38), Budi Utomo (25), and Arden (17), while the injured victims are Narno (46), Darwanto (31), Agung Astanto (24), and Kurniawan (18).
